We meet people walking through hardship, grief, recovery, displacement, or personal loss with dignity, patience, and meaningful support.

Difficult seasons can leave people feeling isolated. Hands of Healing creates a place where someone can be heard, treated with dignity, and connected with a responsible next step.
Recognize the person in front of us, meet needs where we responsibly can, and remind people that they have not been forgotten.
Who It May Serve
Support During Difficult Seasons
Hands of Healing may consider requests involving situations such as:
- Grief following the death or loss of someone important.
- Recovery after a traumatic, disruptive, or painful event.
- Displacement caused by disaster, instability, or a sudden change in circumstances.
- A major life transition that has left someone without a dependable support system.
- Isolation, discouragement, or a need for prayer and compassionate connection.
- Practical needs that the church may be able to address directly or through community connections.
This list is not a guarantee of assistance or a complete list of situations the ministry may consider. Every request is reviewed individually.

Sometimes the first need is simply having someone stop, listen, and recognize what a person is carrying.
Hands of Healing offers a compassionate place for people to talk about hardship, grief, recovery, displacement, or another difficult season without immediately being judged or reduced to the situation they are facing.
When welcomed, this support may include prayer, spiritual encouragement, scripture, and connection with members of the church community.
This May Include
- Listening without judgment.
- Prayer when requested or welcomed.
- Spiritual encouragement and scripture.
- A connection with the wider church community.
Responsible Response
Practical Assistance
Practical care begins by understanding the immediate need and determining what help may responsibly be available.
Hands of Healing considers each request individually. The ministry reviews the circumstances, urgency, safety concerns, available volunteers, supplies, funding, transportation, and other current capabilities.
Assistance is never guaranteed. The ministry will communicate honestly about what it can and cannot provide.
This May Include
- Reviewing an immediate practical need.
- Coordinating available volunteers or supplies.
- Helping identify a reasonable next step.
- Connecting the person with another appropriate resource.
Finding the Right Help
Resource Connections
Some needs require services, experience, or resources beyond what the church can directly provide.
In those situations, Hands of Healing may help identify community organizations, professional providers, public resources, or other programs that are better equipped to address the specific need.
A suggested resource or referral does not guarantee that another organization will accept the request or provide assistance.
This May Include
- Locating community support organizations.
- Identifying professional or public services.
- Sharing contact information and application details.
- Helping clarify which kind of provider may be appropriate.
Continuing Fellowship
Church Connection
Support should not always end when the immediate conversation or request is finished.
Hands of Healing may help someone connect with the wider life of The Savage Saints through prayer, fellowship, online gatherings, shared church experiences, or opportunities to serve.
The goal is to offer a path toward meaningful relationships rather than treating a person as a single request or temporary problem.
This May Include
- Introduction to the church community.
- Prayer and spiritual encouragement.
- Information about gatherings and church activities.
- Opportunities to participate or serve when appropriate.
Care Beyond the Moment
Follow-Up
When possible, the ministry may check in after the first conversation to see how the person or situation is progressing.
Follow-up depends on the circumstances, the wishes of the person requesting support, volunteer availability, and whether continuing contact is appropriate.
Follow-up is not professional case management. It is a compassionate effort to remind people that they have not been forgotten.

- A later message or conversation.
- Continued prayer and encouragement.
- Updated information about available resources.
- Continued connection with the church community.
Responsible Response
How Requests Are Considered
Requests are reviewed according to the information provided, the urgency of the situation, safety concerns, current ministry resources, available volunteers, and whether another organization is more appropriately equipped to respond.
When Hands of Healing cannot directly meet a need, the ministry may still be able to offer prayer, information, or a connection to another resource. A referral or suggested resource does not guarantee that another organization will provide assistance.

Program Availability and Limitations
Hands of Healing is a church outreach program. It is not an emergency service, medical provider, mental health provider, licensed counseling service, housing agency, legal service, or government assistance program.
Financial assistance, transportation, housing, supplies, and other forms of material support are not guaranteed. The ministry can only respond within its current resources, capabilities, safety requirements, and charitable purpose.
